REPEAL DAY PARTY

Prohibition Repeal Day is celebrated on December 5. Repeal of Prohibition in the United States in 1933, restoring the legal right to purchase and consume alcohol. Most often celebrated by gatherings in bars, lounges and restaurants.

Alaska businesses often host special events to commemorate this occasion. These gatherings reflect on the importance of individual rights and the times during the repeal.
