Daniel is a lifelong Alaskan with broad range of professional experience.
Before law school, Daniel served for six years as a Mission Generation Vehicular Equipment Maintenance Mechanic in the Alaska Air National Guard as a drill-status Guardsman. During his enlistment he held numerous full-time positions including as a Human Resources Assistant in the Joint Forces Headquarters and a Community Relations Specialist with the Alaska National Guard’ s Public Affairs Office. Daniel has also served as staff in the Alaska State Legislature, both during the legislative session and the interim, in positions ranging from Legislative Aide to Chief of Staff.
Daniel graduated from the Ohio State University’ s Moritz College of Law in 2021. While in law school, Daniel was a summer law clerk an Alaskan law firm providing legal research on civil matters and continued to work remotely for the firm until his graduation. He remained active in the development of public policy as a Legal Intern in the Ohio State Senate. During his third year of law school, he worked for a local firm in Ohio serving domestic relations and contract public defense clients.
Daniel clerked for the Fairfield County Court of Common Pleas in Ohio and the Anchorage District Court before joining Carlson Law Group, LLC. Daniel lives in Anchorage with his wife and children and is an avid outdoorsman. When he’ s not at work he can frequently be found in the Chugach foothills, no matter the weather.
