Friday, June 27 Dancin’ and Cruisin’ Classic Car Show, 5-9 p. m., Apple Valley American Legion 1776, 14521 Granada Drive. Cars should arrive between 4 and 5 p. m. Awards will be presented at 8:30 p. m. Register with car entry fee of $ 20 at https:// www. avfreedomdays. com / car-showregistration /. Proceeds go toward Dancin’ and Cruisin’ fundraising efforts. Includes T-shirt, dash plaque, and first 150 vehicles receive a“ goodie bag.” Music at at 8 p. m. Food served in the back parking lot by the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
Wednesday, July 2 Casting with the Cops, 5:30-7:30 p. m., Cobblestone Lake Fishing Pier. Free preregistration for each child is required at https:// www. avfreedomdays. com / casting-with-thecops. Bait, treats, and prizes will be provided. Sponsored by the Minnesota Valley In-Fisherman Club.
Thursday, July 3 Cub Foods Family Fun Night, 5-9 p. m., Johnny Cake Park E., 5800 140th St. W. Knockerballs and inflatables – $ 5. https:// knockerballstpaul. com on Soccer Field A, Magic Norm https:// magicnorm. com, Petting Zoo – $ 5 per child entry( parents admitted free), Pony Rides – $ 5 per child, Interactive Chalk Art with Shawn McCann Arts, face painting, Zuhrah Funsters, food trucks, vendor fair, kids dance, Apple Valley police, fire and public works units on site for tours.
Saturday, June 28 Root Beer Float Event, 11:30 p. m. to 1 p. m., Apple Valley Senior Center, 14601 Hayes Road. Cost: $ 2. Includes a K9 demonstration. Hosted by Apple Valley Seniors
