This time ten years ago, I was an agent at a big, older company, underwhelmed by what I saw in the industry, with nothing on the horizon except my dream of owning a brokerage that would shake things up. A modern company, rooted in old school, but driven by creativity. In December 2015, Ansley Atlanta became the seedling for the global powerhouse we are today. Nothing was easy. There was no playbook. It was a leap of faith, too much confidence(!), willing partners in Hil Harper and my team, and off we went.
It’ s fun to wax nostalgic about what we had in January 2016: the boutique size, the control of a much smaller company, and the excitement of something brand new. But that wouldn’ t tell the whole story.
Hil Harper has been my VP since 2011 and is irreplaceable. The leadership team at Ansley, led by Lane McCormack and Julie Harris, provides the foundation and beyond for Ansley Christie’ s. There is nobody better.
And to my family, our agents, and the communities we serve: You have my sincere gratitude for helping build the best real estate brokerage I could have imagined.
