Looking Back, Looking Ahead
Bernie Tershy advances conservation science across the globe. He co-directs the Coastal Conservation Action Lab at the University of California Santa Cruz, builds conservation businesses, and advises the International Union for Conservation of Nature, among many other organizations. We were honored to welcome Bernie to the Rainforest Trust Advisory Council in 2018 and to our board in 2023. His fellow board members elected Bernie as Board Chair in June 2024.
