THE FUTURE OF GOLF
The VSGA completed its fifth year with Youth on Course, a 501( c)( 3) nonprofit organization that provides youth ages 6-18 with access to life-changing opportunities through golf. Through this program, Youth on Course members pay just $ 5 or less for a 9- or 18-hole round at participating courses while the balance is subsidized by the VSGA.
Oakmont Golf Center( Oakton) 2,757 Rounds
Youth on Course experienced significant growth in Virginia in 2025, with the VSGA subsidizing over 21,000 rounds of golf for young players— an investment of more than $ 180,000. That total represented an increase of 10,000 rounds compared to the previous year.
Queenfield Golf Club( Manquin) 2,438 Rounds
The program also remained a key contributor to overall VSGA membership growth, engaging 8,393 youth golfers statewide. This was more than double the participation in 2024.
The VSGA values its partnership with Youth on Course and is eager to continue growing the program in 2026.
