Efforts to drive demand in SE Asia resulted in a 17 % increase off a low base but it remains a key focus given its proximity with extra marketing to come in Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand. The total amount sold for the season( 154,113 tonnes) almost exceeded the actual crop intake( 155,697 tonnes). The pre-season crop estimate for 2026 was just under 167,000 tonnes.
