Students will put their skills into practice through various experiential learning experiences to gain deeper understanding of working in the sport industry. Sport Management Internship |
The internship requirement is considered to be one of the most critical components of the Sport Management program. Student will undertake a 120-240 hour supervised internship. This opportunity is expected to enhance the student ' s academic experiences, provide additional work experience, and networking opportunities. Internship experiences may take place in any of the varied sport industry settings. |

Introduction to Social Work |
This course will present an overview of the elements which define social |
work. Social work history, values, and ethics will be discussed. Basic |

counseling techniques and an overview of the various agencies of social work |

will be covered providing a strong overview of generalist social work |

practice. This course requires a short social service volunteer experience. |

This course is open to all students interested in exploring social work as a |
