Program Admissions Requirements and Procedures: Any student who is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science degree in any program may apply to earn a minor in speech-language pathology. Students should speak with the Program Director of the Speech-Language Pathology Program and their academic advisor prior to completing the appropriate minor addition form.
Internal / External Transfers: A maximum of six credits may be transferred from another institution. All prerequisites for the chosen courses must be satisfied. To receive credit for courses taken elsewhere, submission of a transcript must be submitted, and the program may request a course syllabus to appropriately evaluate course equivalency.
Academic Standards / Grade Requirements: Grades of“ C” or higher are required in each minor course; C- grades are not acceptable. A student may achieve less than a“ C” grade in only two courses, and they may repeat these courses only once.
Academic Progress,( Probation), and Program Dismissal: Should a student fail to earn a grade of“ C” or higher in any of the courses required for the minor, the student will not earn the minor.

Description: The Frances M. Maguire College of Nursing and Health Professions offers Master of Science in Nursing, Post-Graduate APRN Certificates, Master of Science in Occupational Therapy, Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology, and Doctor of Nursing Practice programs.
