Academic Standards / Grade Requirements: A grade of C or higher is required in each of the courses required for the minor.
Academic Progress,( Probation), and Program Dismissal: A student may achieve less than a“ C” Grade in only two courses for the minor and he / she may repeat these courses only once. If a student, regardless of their cumulative grade point average, achieves less than a“ C” grade on a third course for the minor or fails to bring all grades up to a“ C” with one repeat, they will be dismissed from the program. Exceptions may be made at the discretion of the program director or the Dean.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE Degree: Minor Program Modality: On-ground
Program Description: Students with a university major other than criminal justice may earn a minor in criminal justice by completing six courses( 18 credits): CRJ 102, 215, 216, and three CRJ electives. Students must earn a“ C” or better in all courses in the minor.

Internal / External Transfers: A maximum of six credits may be transferred from another college. Students must earn a“ C” or better in all courses in the minor. For Minor Requirements, see Program Handbook and Curriculum Sheets.

Experiential Learning: Students are required to engage in an internship, which allows students to put theory into practice, observe professionals engaging their field of study, practice their skills under the supervision of seasoned professionals, network within their chosen field, and gain valuable experience. Requirements and other information regarding the internship are detailed in the program handbook. Students should consult with their academic advisor the year before they plan to register for the internship. Students are responsible for their own transportation to and from off campus experiential learning opportunities.
DATA ANALYTICS Degree: Minor Program Modality: On-ground
Program Description: With a minor in data analytics, students will gain a foundational understanding of data analytics using the latest techniques and approaches. Students will learn how to write code to manipulate data, perform statistical analysis, and create visualizations. Through hands-on projects and
