Hip Hop Dance Grades K – 5 This Richmond Urban Dance class is designed for children to express creative movement and learn the basics of hip-hop dance . Children will focus on basic technique and skills , as well as learning choreography . Each class is a fun way to listen and move to the beats of hip hop and classic beats .

Kids on the Move Grades 6-8 This exciting middle school aged camp is all about the field trips . Departing every morning from the JCC , spending the day exploring and enjoying all that the area has to offer . Roller coasters , rock climbing , and more . This camp will range far and wide , kings and queens of the road , returning to the JCC in the afternoon after hours of fun .

Mixed Media Madness Instructor : Elizabeth Brown Grades 2-5 What an amazing week to truly let your imaginations run wild ! Throughout the week campers will strengthen their creativity through the manipulation and exploration of various materials . From recycled items such as yarn , found objects , and paper , campers will combine different media agents in order to create works of art !

ProSkills Basketball Grades K – 5 Ball handling , footwork , position play , shooting , rebounding , and defense are just some of the skills campers will learn in Basketball Camp . Teamwork , sportsmanship , discipline , and fun are the focus .

Richmond Ballet , Sleeping Beauty Grades K – 4 This week-long Invitation to dance camp features classes in age-appropriate ballet technique emphasizing creativity , coordination , flexibility and strength . Students will explore all the facets of the art of ballet , learning about the story , music and costumes of classic story ballets .

Bricks 4 Kidz : A Pirate ’ s Quest Grades K – 4 Ahoy Mateys ! Have your child join us on the open seas in our Pirate-themed camp ! Campers will follow model plans designed by engineers and architects as they build with LEGO ® Bricks . Our LEGO ® project kits offer campers the opportunity to learn STEM-based principles through fun , educational play . The kits include gears , axles , and motors to bring campers ’ creations to life ! The camp will help children improve fine motor skills , build self-esteem , and learn important classroom lessons such as organization and following directions . Campers will also have the opportunity to explore their imaginations through free play .

CORE Ninjas Grades K – 5 Want to train like a Ninja ? Join us for an actionpacked Ninja training which will consist of obstacle training , martial arts , gymnastics and freestyle movement . Ninja campers will utilize our specialized Ninja equipment to learn a variety of skills , including Ninja rolls , flips , vaults , wall runs , palm spins , and ricochet spins ! In addition to gaining new skills , campers will also work on cardio , core strength , and stamina through challenging games and cooperative activities to build strength and endurance !
