Check is the last method of payment the City prefers ( P-Card is the most optimal way to pay ), but if P-Card or ACH aren ’ t available for a given vendor , we need to understand the proper processes involved to prevent rejections / deletions for anyone submitting a request for check ( RFC ). Munis : Requisition Entry
A requisition is the entry necessary to purchase something , a request for goods or services . Once the initial requisition is created and released , it is then converted to a Purchase Order ( PO ), which is issued to the vendor as a Notice to Proceed . This training delves into when and how to enter a requisition in Munis , including how to review and edit an existing one , and if a PO has been issued or where to find out if an invoice has been paid .
