Quad cities are full of green space
One of the more valued aspects of city living among quad city residents is the availability of many parks dotting the landscape . Robbinsdale has 14 city parks totaling 110 acres . Approximately 15 % of Golden Valley , more than 1,035 acres , is dedicated to parks and open space . The city maintains 50 miles of trails along with nature areas , community and neighborhood parks . Crystal , featuring the newly-renovated Becker Park , has more than 261 acres dedicated to parks and open space and maintains 27 parks along with ball fields , courts , playgrounds , trails and activity areas . New Hope includes 18 parks – so many that nearly every home is within a quarter-mile of a city park .
