As you move to adulthood , considering the use of birth control methods for planning , a healthy lifestyle to include a balanced diet , participating in regular exercise , quitting smoking , and managing stress are important . The later in life Monarch woman might experience perimenopause , menopause , and post menopause . It is important for older women to participate in physical activity as approved by your health care provider to include muscle strengthening , aerobic activity , and balance activities and consume a diet higher in protein . To calculate your daily needed grams of protein , take your weight and divide by 2 and then multiply by 1.2 ( OASH , 2023 ).
I encourage you to take these tips to live healthy today and for the future . Take time for a mental health break by getting at least seven to eight hours of sleep , practicing mediation and mindfulness , building resilience , and spending time with supportive family and friend . Although May was Women ’ s Health Month , Monarch men take time to provide support to your spouse , partner , daughter , mother , grandmother , or any woman in your life .
