Archery & Pickleball Camp

Experience an individual sport that has been around for centuries and one of the newest and up-and-coming individual sports in the world in this exciting camp ! Youngsters will be introduced to pickleball stroke fundamentals such as serving , lobbing , smashing , volleying , and dinking . Fun and challenging drills and recreational matches will help young players develop the hand-eye coordination , motor skills , and mental abilities needed for successful pickleball games . Instructors will also teach campers the essentials of target archery such as range safety , equipment use , and technique . Fun archery games will be played to practice technique . Our goal is to have each child leave camp with the knowledge and confidence to continue their interest in the sports of archery and pickleball . Equipment will be provided . Please bring a labeled water bottle .

Archery Camp

Participants will learn an excellent , nationally recognized beginner ’ s 9-step to the 10 ring progression . Archery helps participants ’ concentration and increases discipline . Participants also will learn about archery history and equipment , archery characters in the movies and comics , Olympic archery , folk heroes , and other fun archery facts through interesting activities and discussions . Please bring a labeled water bottle . All supplies provided .

Badminton & Pickleball Camp

Experience two of the fastest sports on the planet ! Badminton is widely considered to be the fastest racket sport and pickleball is the fastest growing racket sport around . Youngsters will be introduced to stroke fundamentals such as serving , receiving , smashing , volleying , and dropping . Fun and challenging drills and recreational matches will help young players develop the hand-eye coordination , motor skills , and mental abilities needed for successful pickleball and badminton games . Equipment is provided . Please bring a labeled water bottle .

Baseball / Softball Camp

This camp will include instruction in skill development , fundamentals and games . Drills for defense , hitting , base running and throwing will be taught . Outfield , infield , pitching and catching segments will all be included . Please bring a labeled mitt , bat and water bottle .

Basketball Camp

Campers will develop fundamental offensive skills including footwork , ball handling , passing , setting screens , and shooting . Defensive concepts such as stance work , man-to-man , zone , boxing out , and rebounding will also be introduced . Player instincts and quickness are enhanced through individual ball work , team situational drills and various game situations . Players improve their fundamental skills , knowledge of the game , and understanding of how to become a better basketball player individually and as a team . Please bring a labeled water bottle .
