Refunds for Town Team will not be issued after June 11 – NO exceptions
The Hinsdale Town Team is a member of the West Suburban Swim Conference , which swims “ recreationally ” with nearby towns . Swim meets are held both home and away . The conference is divided into two divisions : “ A ” for more experienced swimmers and “ B ” for less experienced swimmers .
The team practices Monday through Thursdays ( see times below ), with “ A ” meets held on either Tuesday evenings or Saturday mornings , and “ B ” meets are held on either Thursday evenings or Saturday mornings . The season will end with a conference championship meet for both divisions and a team party . Parents are required to volunteer for home meets .
Please Note : Participants on the Town Team must be able to swim 25 yards unassisted and be at least 5 years old . Participants who do not meet this requirement will be refunded . This program is designed as an introduction to competitive swimming – it is not swimming lessons .
