The museum has five great themes : History of Crime , Consequences of Crime , Crime Scene Investigation , Crime Fighting and Crimes in Pop Culture . A few points of interest in the museum are the history gallery - which starts in the middle ages and continues through colonial , pirates , old west , prohibition and depression eras , the criminal justice area - which includes a line-up , courtroom and functional jail cells through history , our 9 / 11 theater , CSI room and car gallery featuring several interesting vehicles from history - including the VW that Ted Bundy owned !
