Movement Analysis ( MA )
The leadership team introduced the Movement Analysis ( MA ) of Cardiac Rehabilitation Participants study in 2019 to measure pre- and post-outcomes of cardiac rehabilitation participants . The MA measures several pillars of physical fitness such as muscle strength , cardiorespiratory fitness , balance , flexibility , and mobility . The scope and depth of the MA differentiates the Walter I . Berman Center ’ s program from other programs in the area .
Data from the initial MA provides the team with the pertinent information necessary to prescribe exercises specifically tailored to each patient ’ s needs . Each month , program graduates ’ data is analyzed , posted and discussed by the team . The outcomes provide important data as to where graduates excelled and where their exercise prescriptions may have needed improvement .
