OUCH-International also exhibited at regional and national professional meetings such as the World Conference on Lung Cancer , which helped foster valuable connections and spread awareness . We must also ensure that young graduates , residents , and fellows are well-educated in these critical issues , and that that our health systems become more resilient and sustainable .
Real impact depends on collective action . The more of us that speak up , the more we will be heard . Here are some ways you can make an impact : Volunteer to give Grand Rounds or an educational talk or seminar at your institution or Cancer Center Speak to your health center about what they can do to decrease or mitigate their climate footprint Write to your local legislators about the impact of climate change on health and cancer .
