day two
State of Manufacturing
AWB President Kris Johnson delivered the second-annual State of Manufacturing address at the Lampson International headquarters in Kennewick. He was joined by legislative and congressional leaders, including Congressman Dan Newhouse and state Sen. Matt Boehnke, as well as Kate Lampson, the third generation of family leaders at Lampson International.
Johnson discussed the ways that state policy-makers can support manufacturing, including support for workforce development and an all-of-the-above energy strategy that sees Washington creating new electricity sources rather than shutting down existing ones.
