KeHE WHEN UPPERCASE
Any instance where KeHE is UPPERCASE , the first " e " in KeHE should remain lowercase .
TRADEMARK / REGISTRATION USAGE
LOGOS SHOULD ALWAYS HAVE THE TM / R MARK ON IT REGARDLESS OF THEIR PLACEMENT ON A PAGE / AD .
THE FIRST USE OF A WORDMARK ON A PAGE SHOULD ALWAYS SHOW THE APPROPRIATE TM / R MARK . THE MARK DOES NOT NEED TO BE REPEATED IN THE REMAINING BODY COPY ON THAT PAGE .
If the first instance of the wordmark appears in a logo , image , or headline , then it should have the TM / R mark ( and the TM / R does not need to be repeated in the remaining copy on the page / ad ).
TIME
All times should include a . m . and p . m . with periods . Include a space between the number and a . m . or p . m . and a space on either side of the dash .
Always include the time zone as Central , Eastern , Mountain , Hawaii-Aleutian , Pacific , or Alaska Time . If there is a space constraint , you may Use CT , ET , MT , HT , PT , or AK .
DATES , DAYS & MONTHS
All dates should be written out in full . Include a dash on either side of the date when listing a date range .
Do not include th , nd , or rd after a date .
Do not abbreviate the day , month , or year . Capitalize the month .
Days of the week should be used when referring to deadline dates and within a Schedule of Events . They should not be used when listing show dates or specific functions . Days of the week must be capitalized and should not be abbreviated .
Dates should not be used on signage at in-person events unless needed to describe future events .
CAPITALIZATION
Formal function titles , places , or KeHE programs should be capitalized . Terms to be capitalized include , but are not limited to : President , Schedule of Events , and Exhibit Hall .
Follow the capitalization rules below on all publications and signage :
• Headers are all CAPS . Limit to five words or less .
• Sub-headers are Title Case . Prepositions or words that are four letters or less should be lowercase .
• Body copy is Sentence Case . Keywords may be put in all CAPS when appropriate .
NUMBERS
The numbers “ one ” through “ nine ” are written out . Any number 10 or greater , should use numerals . Use commas with for number greater than 999 .
For numbers greater than 999,999 , do not write out the full number . “$ 7 million ” or “ 3.5 billion ” is the correct usage .
Exceptions :
• When a large numeral begins a sentence - e . g ., “ Four hundred seventy-three people attending the meeting received a $ 7 million gift .”
• Ages ( 5-year-old )
• Currency ($ 7 )
• Percentages ( 8 %)
