Fondly remembered in his community as “ Mr . Homebuilder ,” he was known for his business savvy , customer service and unwavering dedication to the building industry . He was one of the founders of the HBCA of Palm Beach County in 1953 , and he served as its President in 1961 . He was President of the Florida Home Builders Association in 1964 and Vice President of the National Association of Home Builders in 1966 . ( Elected to Hall in 1996 )
