Apple Valley Freedom Days – Series of events in days prior to and on Friday, July 4, 2025. Freedom Days Parade 1 p. m. July 4 follows route from Pennock Avenue at Fireside Drive north to 145th Street west to Hayes Road north Apple Valley High School. Farmington Relay for Life – Cancer fundraiser is typically held from mid-late July, on the track at Boeckman Middle School in Farmington. Event includes participants from the area cities of Rosemount, Lakeville and Apple Valley. More is at cancer. org / involved / event-search. html.
Rosemount Leprechaun Days – Typically held the last full week of July. The city’ s largest annual festival has included about 60 events with a parade, carnival, live music, fireworks, and food mostly centered around Central Park. Dakota County Fair – Aug. 4-10, 2025, Dakota County Fairgrounds, 4008 220th Street W., Farmington. Tickets will be available starting in July at the Dakota County Fair box office in Ahlberg Hall.
