This past year was one of growth , innovation , and continued dedication to improving the quality of life for all who call Jupiter home .

The Jupiter Fire Rescue Department made significant strides as it progressed through its implementation phase . Its eyes are set on providing world-class service when it goes into service on October 1 , 2026 . The year started with the Town bringing on a new leader , Fire Chief Darrel Donatto , who quickly put together a command staff that is second to none . These dedicated individuals have worked tirelessly with other Town staff to ramp up the town ' s new fire department .
In 2024 , the Town invested in multiple infrastructure projects to enhance our roads , parks , and public spaces . In addition to enhancing safety and accessibility along Town-owned roadways , we have also worked closely with the Florida Department of Transportation on two projects , the rebuild of the U . S . 1 Bridge and the widening of western Indiantown Road , to improve commuting in Jupiter . The Town has also installed new pedestrian-friendly crossings to improve pedestrian safety . At the same time , the Jupiter Police Department began an education campaign about e-bicycles to highlight safety surrounding this new mode of transportation .
Jupiter remains a thriving hub for businesses , both large and small . Our Business Community Liaison continues to work with several businesses to assist those who wish to operate in the Town . With a thriving business community , Jupiter continues to be a desirable place to live and work .
Ron Delaney Councilor
We take pride in our commitment to preserving Jupiter ’ s natural beauty , and the Town continues to take steps to protect our natural environment . We recently completed the second phase of the rehabilitation of the Sawfish Bay Park marina . This project has already begun to draw some of our natural water species back to the area .
Our residents are at the heart of everything we do , and this year , the Town hosted more than 200 events to continue to foster our " unique small-town feel ." The Town has also completed extensive planning for 2025 , a year in which the Town will celebrate 100 years of " being Uniquely Jupiter ." With even more events planned in the year ahead , we hope all our residents will find the opportunity to come together to celebrate our piece of paradise .
In this Annual Report , you will learn more about our 2024 Strategic Initiatives and the past year ' s accomplishments .
