In 2023 , Renown South Meadows underwent significant enhancements to the existing medical center that continue to uphold the esteemed quality of care and dedication that has long been associated with this location . Patient rooms in the general surgical units transitioned to private rooms with dedicated family areas and all six operating rooms were updated . Additionally , Renown South Meadows is now home to a Renown Pharmacy location .

The 121,000 square foot Specialty Care Center is the newest addition to the Renown South Meadows campus . Opening in 2025 , the new addition is a thoughtfully crafted space driven by insights from patients , visitors and team members that showcases best-in-class technology , prioritizes patient care and focuses on employee well-being . Services will include an expanded laboratory and diagnostic service center including a cardiac catheterization lab , a new surgery center with six additional operating rooms and the Conrad Breast Center .
