IB Math Analysis and Approaches HL 12 Prerequisite / Selection Process : AP / IB Calc AB / BC HL Intended Audience : Students who will go on to study a subject with substantial mathematics content such as mathematics , engineering or physical sciences . It is designed for students who enjoy developing their mathematics to become fluent in the construction of mathematical arguments and develop strong skills in mathematical thinking . They will explore real and abstract applications , sometimes with technology , and will enjoy the thrill of mathematical problem solving and generalization . Credit : Two trimesters = 1.0 credit Major Outcomes :

• Gain knowledge of rudiments of music

• Apply these elements by analyzing works of music
