In this special issue, we featured articles related to self-care care such as creating ethical self-care in a crisis, switching to telehealth and the impact on our practices and work, as well as strategies to prevent burnout and avoid occupational hazards that can diminish well-being. Also included was a column by Dr. Sanders-Burnett reflecting on her presidential year with AMHCA, plus an overview of goals and strategies for the organization and how counselors can promote self-care for the public by Dr. Beverly Smith.
Volume 48 / No. 1: Released March 2024 This issue includes feature articles on why to use or avoid artificial intelligence in your practice, strategies to help Veterans who are making the change from military to civilian life, and a comprehensive approach to regulatory oversight for consumer protection in telehealth reform. Also included was a reflection and farewell from our long-time editor, Kathleen McCarthy, a thank you to volunteers from me, and a recap of ways AMHCA achieved goals from Dr. Smith. Plus, a Counseling Tips article on how to start a private practice!

ETHICS COMMITTEE EVENT
In February, the Ethics Committee held a consultative event. AMHCA members had the opportunity to discuss a pre-submitted ethical dilemma.
ETHICS CONTACT FORM
The AMHCA Ethics Committee continued to review member submissions to the Ethics Contact Form. This important member benefit gives the opportunity for a member to submit an ethical concern they are dealing with and have the committee review and offer advice.
