Laurel Falls Trail – One of the most popular trail destinations in the park , the first 1.4 miles of the trail is paved and provides direct access to Laurel Falls . Park It Forward Parking Fees
Beginning March 1 , 2023 , Great Smoky Mountains National Park will require parking tags to be displayed on any motor vehicle parked within the park boundaries . Parking rates are $ 5 a day ( daily parking tag ), $ 15 for a parking tag valid for up to seven days , and $ 40 for an annual parking tag . Parking tags can be purchased by visiting www . nps . gov / grsm / planyourvisit / fees .
Revenue from the Park It Forward program provides year-round support focused on improving visitor experiences , protecting resources , and maintaining trails , roads , historic structures , and park facilities .
