1 . Pre-entries close July 14 . In order to receive your exhibitor pass to use during the fair , you must enter before July 14th . New registrations ( day of show ) WILL be handled as follows :
• Exhibitors will be charged $ 15 exhibitor pass .
• All transactions ( including handwritten back tags ) will be handled at the check-in tent , not in the Fair Office . 2 . Exhibitor must have an exhibitor ticket in order to show , regardless of age . An Exhibitor Ticket is $ 15 , which is good for the duration of the Fair .
3 . Premium checks will be available approximately two ( 2 ) hours after the last class of the show . In the event that the checks are not ready , they will be mailed out within two ( 2 ) weeks . The Fair Office must have complete address of each exhibitor in order to have checks printed .
4 . All trailers must come in the South Gate on Fairgrounds Road . Horses and ponies will be shown from trailer , NO
STABLING . 5 . Show Superintendents reserves the final right to interpret any of the rules and to settle all disagreements . 6 . Ponies may be measured . 7 . Ages as of January 1 of the current year - 4-H horse or pony must be a 2023 project . 8 . NO REFUNDS unless show is cancelled or veterinarian certificate is presented . 9 . Entries close on the next class when the preceding class enters the show ring . 10 . Proper show attire required for all classes . NO pins furnished . 11 . Judge ’ s decision is final . 12 . Stephenson County Fair General Rules apply . 13 . All horses must have a current Coggins test and all out-of-state horses must provide health papers . Papers willed be reviewed at check-in the day of the show . 14 . Age divisions are : Jr . Handler / Rider - Age 16 and under ; Sr . Handler / Rider - Age 17 and over . 15 . Entry blank , entry fees , and exhibitor tickets monies are to completed online or can be sent to : Stephenson County Fair Association , 2250 S . Walnut Rd ., Freeport IL 61032 .
