100 % PFC-FREE
All our weatherproof products are free of perfluorinated compounds ( PFCs ) so you can recreate responsibly . We use a high-performance , non-toxic DWR treatment that ’ s free of long- and short-chain PFCs , which are harmful to the environment and our health .
RECYCLED FIBER INSULATION
Our insulated jackets are constructed with Clo ® Eco Vivo insulation , which contains 93 % recycled fibers and increases garment breathability by 30 %, allowing more sweat to escape and keeping you dry for long-haul comfort .

Hydration is the source of a healthy life , which is why all of Ultimate Direction ' s gear and apparel is completely free of bisphenol A ( BPA ), a harmful industrial chemical often found in plastic containers .
BLUESIGN ® AND OEKO-TEX ® FABRIC
Products that include the bluesign ® or OEKO-TEX ® label have been independently verified to contain materials that guarantee responsible , sustainable manufacturing practices or include no harmful substances , respectively .
GEAR THAT LASTS
Our in-house team is committed to repairing used product and replacing components as much as possible , rather than discarding worn or torn garments . This gives our gear a second life and keeps usable items out of the landfill .
GREEN PACKAGING
We care about the origin of every detail , which is why 100 % of our hangtag packaging is responsibly sourced from FSC-certified forestry suppliers . The FSC certification also means our packaging is made from partially recycled materials and can be recycled again .
RWS CERTIFIED WOOL
Using natural materials is important , but that is not enough by itself . We only use wool that is RWS certified : the gold standard in animal welfare and land management .
PROGRESSIVE SUPPLY CHAIN
Our pack factory is ISO14001 certified , ensuring we use systems that reduce waste , increase efficiency and enhance our environmental commitment . We inspect our manufacturers to ensure they do not use child labor and provide safe working conditions and fair wages .
