· Regional Baseline . For reference , Arlington resides within TCOLE Region 8 ( see map below ). The region includes the following counties ? Archer , Bosque , Clay , Comanche , Cooke , Denton , Eastland , Erath , Hood , Jack , Montague , Palo Pinto , Parker , Somervell , Stephens , Tarrant , Wichita , Wise , and Young . There are 270 law enforcement reporting agencies in Region 8 . Of the nineteen counties listed , Tarrant County , which is where Arlington is located , is the most urban .
