Happy July Eaglebrooke ,
Summertime is here ! We have already seen many days with heat indexes around 100 degrees . Before heading out onto the course , please ensure you are prepared with plenty of fluids and sunscreen . Additionally , this is the time of year that afternoon storms can pop up in a flash . Remember , if you hear thunder or see lightning you are to seek shelter immediately . We have too many great golfing days throughout the year , and it is not worth the risk .
At the end of June , our facility did switch merchant accounts for our Credit Card Processing . New Credit Card Terminal were switched out at all 8 of our Point of Sale Stations & Beverage Cart . Although this will not impact you on a daily basis , we do require your credit card data for your monthly billing to be updated ( Due to PCI compliance , we are unable to transfer this data ). Please pop into the office before the next EZPay Payment Processing ( 20th of each month ) to update your Credit Card information . As we are all aware , the price of everything is increasing each year . Looking ahead , we are anticipating increased costs to continue to effectively operate our facility . Energy and Labor cost will continue to rise , along with the supplies , chemicals , & fertilizers we use to maintain the golf facilities . Effective in October , we will be implementing increases in the Membership Dues and Cart Fees at the facility . More details will become available as we get closer .
We are happy to announce that we will be adding additional driving range teeing ground in the near future . The project is set to break ground on July 24th . We will be increasing the size of the west tee box and tee box on the back of the range . The additional tee space will definitely be a nice addition , especially I the non-growing months when the range tee is busy and not recovering quickly .
In addition to the Driving Range project , we are working to finalize new carpet selections & paint colors for the Trophy Room . We are hopeful to have this project completed by the end of this summer .
