Andrew Green is the architect for Interlachen ’ s course restoration .
Green is widely considered one of the world ’ s top course renovation and
restoration specialists , recently completing incredible transformations at Congressional Country Club ( 2022 ), Scioto Country Club ( 2022 ), Inverness Club ( 2020 ), Oak Hill Country Club ( 2020 ) and Wannamoisett Country Club ( 2021 ). He is also contracted to develop master plans at East Lake Golf Club ( Ga .) and Mountain Ridge Country Club ( N . J .) among other current projects . Prior to starting A . H . Green Design / Green Golf & Turf , Green spent 14 years with McDonald and Sons as a Senior Designer being exposed to renovation projects at places like Merion , Shinnecock Hills , Pine Valley , and Oakmont .
Throughout the process , Andrew has referenced Interlachen ’ s original Donald Ross blueprints , guiding many of his decisions regarding the renovation . We are fortunate to have such a rich history with many documents and photographs to assist us in the upcoming renovation , sympathetic to the club ’ s original Donald Ross vision for the property .
