Citizens for the Radioactive Radon Reduction , continues to strive to expand its programs and awareness to more communities . We hope that you will be able to take part and join our crusade to help save lives with our participation in events , conferences , and presentations .
Radioactive radon gas exposure is a leading cause of death in the home — the leading environmental cause of cancer mortality and a leading cause of lung cancer . Your contributions will help us educate the general public , physicians , legislators , community leaders , educators , business leaders , home-owners , and realtors about the real danger of the inhalation of radioactive alpha particles which are emitted from the decay products of uranium in the ground under the structures we inhabit .
Our mission is : " Radon reduction advocacy and mentoring in the understanding of increased lung cancer risk due to exposure of radioactive radon gas and help prevent radon-induced lung cancer ." In order to continue our mission and provide services in our communities , we rely on the generosity of individuals and businesses for support . Without the assistance of communityminded individuals and organizations like you , our 501 c3 nonprofit would not be able to provide this critical education each year . Your contributions help us distribute radon test kits at a very low cost and assist us so we can share the knowledge of the danger of radon with others and encourage them to become radon reduction advocates .
Joining CR3 is a way to learn about the dangers of radon in homes , schools and workplaces . It ' s a great way to share your knowledge with the community !
