Computer , Electrical and Mathematical Science and Engineering Anna Frühstück
Anna earned her Ph . D . in Computer Science from KAUST under the supervision of Professor Peter Wonka in the Visual Computing Center . Currently , she is as a Research Scientist at Adobe Research London , where her work centers on advancing computer graphics techniques for large-scale 3D image generation using machine learning .
During her Ph . D . studies , Anna was awarded a prestigious fellowship from Facebook Research and engaged in collaborative industry internships with Meta Reality Labs , Adobe and Weta FX . Before her time at KAUST , she earned both her bachelor ’ s and master ’ s degrees in Visual Computing from Vienna University of Technology in Austria .
Physical Science and Engineering Bram van der Heijden .
Bram holds both a bachelor ’ s and master ’ s degree in Aerospace Engineering from TU Delft , supplemented by a minor degree in manufacturing technologies from NTU . His professional journey is characterized by a focus on numerical modeling and optimization strategies within the realm of solid mechanics . His notable endeavors include modeling 3D-printing processes and geometry optimization . During his Ph . D . he worked on advancing data-driven and model-free approaches for predicting deformations in solids . Since completing his Ph . D ., Bram envisions returning to the Netherlands to explore innovative ways of optimizing the structural design of floating offshore solar farms .
