From the moment they walk through the doors of Christmas Village , visitors are swept away to a winter wonderland . This unique store features a vast collection of Christmas items , many of which cannot be found elsewhere . With ambient music playing , customers may even have the spontaneous urge to sing Christmas carols while exploring the displays .
At 7,000 square feet , Christmas Village leaves many visitors impressed by the size , and even those acquainted with the bigger Christmas stores across the country are surprised by the variety it offers .
Ken and Donna Sheffield started Christmas Village in 1999 , and Ken said , " It was a unique type of business we decided to start ."
In their own travels across the country , Ken and Donna always enjoyed going to Christmas stores . So they decided to start their own in order to create something enjoyable for people . At first , they did not know anything about the Christmas business , " but we ' ve learned a lot over the last few years . It ' s a unique business with unique products ," said Ken .
Christmas Village offers all of the traditional Christmas-related products one would expect to find . It has nutcrackers , gnomes , Santas , snowmen , stockings , music boxes , specialty snow globes and more . There is even a Grinch display featuring a stuffed Grinch riding a custom-painted motorcycle and other fun Grinch products .
