Also on the lower level , one can marvel at the one of a kind Harley Davidson commemorating the USS SOUTH DAKOTA submarine . The bike was present at the submarine official commissioning ceremony and is on permanent display at the museum . An ignition key for the bike remains on board the submarine and any USS SOUTH DAKOTA sailor can ride the bike anywhere in South Dakota .
A racing gallery is also located on the museum ’ s lower level . The display features historical memorabilia and bikes covering all aspects of racing from flat track to land speed to motocross . The display features the easily recognizable Miguel Duhamel Joe Camel-sponsored Honda racing bike .
