Biographies
Ella Barfoot Ella Barfoot is a postgraduate Creative and Critical
Writing student at the University of Liverpool . She writes poems that focus largely on feminism , using the beauty of the natural world and hostile urban landscapes to explore the complexity of womanhood , and the difficulty of understanding and establishing one ’ s female identity . She has recently begun working as an English teacher and is keen to ignite interest in creative writing across her school .
Jessica Bex Jessica is a third year BA student of English Literature and a committed poet . She was awarded the conveted English Attainment Scholarship which is awarded annually to the two Year 1 students with ‘ the best performance ’ in Single Honours or Major English programmes .
Tillie Bradshaw Tillie has just finished her MA in Creative and Critical Writing . She loves poetry and likes to write poems about mental health and nature ; focusing largely on physical sensations . She has recently been reading fantasy and wants to begin incorporating this into her poetry . She has also started to dabble in prose and script .
Ravenna Christie Ravenna Christie is a masters student of Creative and Critical Writing at the University of Liverpool as well as the editor of this anthology . Ravenna has both short fiction and poetry published in three anthologies :
