Directions : From the intersection of Tates Creek Rd and Man O War Blvd , head E on Man O War Blvd ( towards Richmond Rd ). Turn right at the stoplight onto Trent Blvd . Turn left at the stop sign onto Kenesaw Dr . Turn right at the stop sign onto Abbeywood Rd . Turn left at the stop sign onto Old Hickory Lane . Project is the first house on the left .
BEFORE
This two-story home was transformed by adding a garage , breezeway , screened-in porch , grill area and expanded patio . The garage features a studio space flooded with natural light , custom built ins and cork wall . The pea gravel driveway was extended to allow for rear entry to the garage . A gorgeous arched limestone breezeway connects the garage to the house . The breezeway ceiling is barrel vaulted with tongue and groove fir in a dark stain . Other features include a standing seam metal roof , half round gutter , a chandelier , and led rope lighting .
At the rear of the house , a large screened-in porch with vaulted ceiling , brick knee walls and amazing limestone fireplace serve as a centerpiece to the outdoor living area . White-washed brick and pine ceiling , along with warm wood-look porcelain tile blends this space with the home ’ s interior . Additionally , the existing covered patio was extended to encompass a covered grill area and wood storage nook . The paver patio was redone and expanded . New lush landscaping and small waterfall complete this outdoor oasis .
