Reporting and Recordkeeping : Our internal Subcontractor Diversity Tracking and Reporting procedure details roles and responsibilities and consistent processes for tracking and reporting diverse and small business spend with TRC ’ s direct and indirect suppliers . These metrics , in aggregate , provide benchmarks to track our corporate progress toward building a more diverse supply chain . Reports can be generated in Deltek Vision , our Enterprise Resource Planning system . This system is enriched on a quarterly basis using data from SpendHQ , which populates diverse supplier certification data via supplier . io . Vision reports are used to show spend with diverse and small enterprises ( DBE / SBE ) using various filters , including project and / or account numbers , specific DBE / SBE classifications , and / or other required reporting per client contract .
Additional records are maintained on an individual project basis , for example :
■ Records of efforts to contact ( a ) trade associations , ( b ) business development organizations , and ( c ) conferences and trade fairs to locate small and small disadvantaged business sources ;
■ Mentor- Protégé records supporting engagement and training of DBE / SBE contractors ; and
■ Contract-specific records to support award data , including name , address , business size and associated certifications for each subcontractor .
Mentoring : Our firm has also mentored and supported small businesses , including women , minority and disabled veteran firms with great success . Through our past commitments we have helped these firms flourish and improve their capabilities . TRC has developed Mentor-Protégé programs that are interactive and require signed commitments by TRC and our protégé firms . Our program includes meeting with protégé firms to discuss support on proposals , gaps in their ability to serve existing clients , contracting , bonding and insurance matters , estimating and project management skills . More importantly , we work on project-related issues as a due course of our business and to ensure that the process enriches technical capability , administrative competence and project management skill sets . We maintain performance records of each supplier being mentored and communicate their progress and capabilities to project personnel . Depending upon the requested or demonstrated needs of each subcontractor as well as the requirements of the governing contract , TRC may offer training in topics such as safety , technical matters , quality assurance / quality control ( QA / QC ) procedures , project management and business development and management .
Outreach : TRC ’ s project personnel actively seek new diverse suppliers and mentor them as necessary to foster their success as subcontractors through local outreach activities , contractor forums and small business fairs . TRC also requests small business referrals from our clients .

Our Supplier Code of Conduct states our expectations in the areas of business integrity , labor practices , human rights , employee health and safety and environmental management .
