MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE
LGCC Membership is continuing to exceed last year ’ s positive results . We now have over 20 Net New Members through August while our total for 2021 was 16 Net New Members . The most important aspect of our new membership growth is that the majority are full memberships . We are adding members who want all the benefits the club offers including golf , food / beverage , pool and social events . LGCC needs to continue adding new members by having our members help us promote the club to meet our goal of 25 Net New Members for this year . We need both membership growth and engagement to have a prosperous and sustainable club .
Members are our best ambassadors to bring in new members ! It is critical that you continue to introduce or refer potential members to Deborah Goglia who will assist in presenting the club offerings to these prospects . She is doing a great job of adding new members but we need to finish out 2022 strong to meet our membership goal .
Our new chef , CB Braxton and the culinary improvements he is bringing to the club are outstanding . Many members enjoyed the Prime Rib night carving along with his scrumptious “ Seafood Buffet ” dinners this past month . Make sure you look at the monthly calendar to see the events offered in September . Make an effort to come out in September to experience these new dinner offerings he is presenting !
The pool was a great success this year with all the improvements management made to make your swimming experience enjoyable . The golf course continues to be the “ Jewel of the Valley ” and pickleball is gaining new participants .
So as the fall starts , there are still many events for all members to enjoy at the club . You will be notified about these events by email updates , text alerts and our monthly newsletter .
Our committee ’ s goal is to grow our membership and create exciting events for all members and their families to enjoy so our club will prosper and make 2022 a tremendous year for everyone at Lexington Golf and Country Club .
