In 2022 , Children ’ s Hospital Colorado prioritized the recruitment , retention and support of our direct care team members . Included were endeavors to reimagine the new graduate nurse residency , focally support resiliency , refresh the clinical nurse advancement program and introduce low to no-cost educational benefits . These initiatives were aimed to address workforce changes and challenges amplified by the pandemic response and will continue uplifting clinical team members across our system of care in years to come .
