The Center for Valve Disorders at Baylor Scott & White Heart and Vascular Hospital – Dallas specializes in comprehensive evaluation , diagnosis and treatment of patients with any type of valvular heart disease or structural heart issue .
The multidisciplinary team of interventional cardiologists , non-invasive cardiologists , cardiothoracic surgeons and cardiac imaging specialists on the medical staff combine evidence-based expertise with advanced technology to address all valvular pathologies .
Most all of the evaluations and testing in our outpatient suite , including comprehensive advanced imaging with either or both the 1.5 Tesla MRI or 384-slice CT can be completed on the same day in a single location , making it easier for the patient and his or her family . The center also offers multiple options for high-risk patients including access to all major clinical research trials . The specialists on the hospital ’ s medical staff have proctored cases internationally for multiple transcatheter aortic valve replacement ( TAVR ) devices .
