The Cardiovascular Second Opinion Program team assists with the coordination of appointments with specialists on the medical staff and any additional follow-up , including diagnostic testing , that may be required . Virtual consultation is also available . The clinicians involved are committed to help the patient through his or her journey from the time of diagnosis through procedure or surgery to post discharge care . The team collaborates with the patient ’ s personal physician to foster seamless , continuous communication and follow-up care .
