Located near downtown Dallas adjacent to Baylor University Medical Center , part of Baylor Scott & White Health , Baylor Scott & White Heart and Vascular Hospital - Dallas is a Magnet ® -recognized , fully accredited hospital serving residents of North Texas and beyond .
In fiscal year 2022 , the hospital celebrated 20 years of serving the community , providing cardiovascular care . When the hospital opened in 2002 , it was the first North Texas hospital dedicated solely to the care and treatment of heart and vascular patients . The hospital is providing inpatient and outpatient services focused on preventive heart health and comprehensive cardiovascular disease management . Patients travel nationally and internationally to receive care from the specialists on the medical staff and the hospital ’ s cardiovascular programs and services .
In fiscal year 2022 , in collaboration with Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Waxahachie , Baylor Scott & White Heart and Vascular Hospital – Dallas expanded cardiology services into Ellis County by opening a cath lab within Baylor Scott & White – Waxahachie . Soon after , ground was broken for a new medical office building which will house a new heart hospital .
