On this 20th anniversary of providing cardiovascular care , we pay tribute to the many who worked tirelessly to open the first North Texas hospital dedicated to the care and treatment of heart and vascular patients . With the help of a generous donation provided by Jack and Jane Hamilton , the hospital opened adjacent to Baylor University Medical Center in 2002 , turning the vision into a reality . Providing quality care on the Dallas campus has remained paramount as programs and services grew . A note of gratitude to all , including medical staff team members , who were involved with the opening in Dallas and the expansion into Fort Worth in 2014 . We are proud to also expand our nationally recognized services to Ellis County . For the providers throughout the years who have placed their trust and confidence in our care for their patients , thank you .
