Good day everyone !
Fall is finally here ! The weather was very pleasant for September . The only weekend we had a rainout was the last weekend in September . The pool activity was slow these last few weeks but also still fun for those die-hard swimmers and sun worshipers . The committee and I will be meeting to discuss ways to improve our pool experience for next year .
We continue to have positive comments on our dining menu and quality of food . The members are really enjoying the flavors that Chef C . B . has been creating and look forward to seeing what he has in store for the winter . We started offering Sunday Brunch every Sunday , a delicious brunch buffet for everyone to enjoy , this will continue to run through October . This is a great social time for everyone to gather and give thanks for everything that we are doing here at LGCC . If you have not been able to join us yet , please try to come out and support the club and enjoy a wonderful meal while socializing with your friends .
We have hosted several banquet events in September , and it looks like our October calendar is filling up fast . There is still time to book your Holiday Party , call Deborah for all your planning needs . Christmas will be here before you know it and we would love to see you all here enjoying the Christmas season and holiday fun with your family and friends . Keep an eye out for great Holiday Events happening at the Club .
The golf activity was also busy in September . Let us hope the weather cooperates for the rest of the year as many of our members love to play in the Fall as the temperatures drop a little and the air gets cooler . We already have a busy outing schedule for October which will add to our revenue . Jake and his staff have been doing an excellent job keeping up with manicuring the grounds . The grass likes to grow a little faster this time of year so they will be busy keeping the course in its best shape .
