• F & B – Changed dining minimums and we are $ 25,000 ahead of budget .
• Pool & Courts – New Pool Bar Café , new paint and pool repair .
• Social – Reinstated Annual Members party , Annual Christmas Party , Cornhole Tournaments , Parents Night Out , and and much more !
• Total Revenue – Very close to YTD budget .
We are excited as we welcome fall golf , the return of students , and amazing weather . The Club recently signed an agreement with Southern Virginia University ’ s golf team to host two tournaments ( one tournament this fall , one this spring ), VMI ’ s club team continues its use of the course , and we continue our partnership with Washington and Lee . Chef CB continues to receive rave reviews ( he is outstanding ) and plans to roll out new menu items shortly . The Pool Bar Café was well received and the summer pool season was a success . Our major events ; Stars and Stripes / Memorial Day , Member Guest Weekend & Member / Member Weekend ; had live bands and were well attended . Our Social Committee continues its hard work of planning new and exciting events .
We have momentum as a club and the board is continually focused on improving the member experience . We welcome any comments , suggestions , volunteers or input .
Thank you for your support and we hope to see you at the Club !
