This year , the National Service Project will be writing letters to health care workers and hospital patients in the Lafayette area . The past two years have been strenuous for hospitals , so the NJCL will be both thanking health care workers for their continued dedication to saving lives and wishing current patients a speedy recovery . Paper will be provided , but attendees are encouraged to bring writing utensils . Leftover materials from DIY Spirit may also be used for the service project .
All service project times will take place in Forum A during colloquia sessions .
Convention Domi attendees will write cards at home and submit photos of them to the 2nd Vice President . Then , they will send the cards to a local institution of their choosing . The NJCL will not be responsible for delivering LDDs ' cards to hospitals .
