The Colorado Division of Real Estate regulates real estate appraisers , salespersons and brokers through licensure and discipline . Licensees must comply with established educational and experience requirements , and pass a test prior to licensure . Earnest money deposits and escrow and trust funds are regulated by the Division .
Colorado Attorney General ’ s Office represents and defends the legal interests of the people of the State of Colorado and its sovereignty .
